We have been in business since 1983, originally established in Amherst, NY. For several years prior to then, Gordon worked for JF Krantz Nurseries of Amherst, before setting out on his own adventure.

In early 1990, Gordon returned to his hometown of Olean, NY and established his company once again. Throughout the next several years, SCOTT'S Lawn & Landscape Services grew to be a recognized leader in the Olean area.

In 1996, the owner, Gordon B. Scott, earned his A.A.S. degree in Landscape Development & Ornamental Horticulture from Alfred State College. This, combined with over 27 years of experience, makes Gordon and the TEAM at SCOTT'S capable of providing the wide variety of services needed for your specific site requirements and conditions.

In 2008. we purchased just over 4 acres of land on the Route 16 corridor, just north of Olean. To date we have erected a 2000 square foot office building/ retail showroom, as well as a 4000 square foot shop building. Our site is laid out for easy access for our customers.
